The company also introduced its latest monitor and notebook PC products, including a multi-display solution LCD monitor with tandem 7-inch extra screen, and ultra portable notebook PC for mobile workers.
“Our aim is to reinforce solution capabilities while increasing the number of reference cases by the end of 2009,” said Dr. Jongwoo Park, President of Digital Media Business. “We then expect to enter the top tier of IT solution providers by 2012.” Extending Range of Printers and Solutions Responding to the needs of the B2B marketplace, Samsung announced a significantly expanded portfolio of products and services. Testament to Samsung’s commitment to the printer market, Samsung launched 22 new printing devices along with 16 new solutions, each tailored to meet a range of needs for companies of all sizes. From some of the world's smallest colour laser printers (CLP-310 Series) to the fastest A4 digital MFPs (MultiXpress C8380ND), Samsung is bringing innovation to the corporate printing space. Developing products to meet the specific needs of businesses, the company is focusing on four main areas with its new products and solutions – design, connectivity, speed and sustainability. Samsung is also revolutionising the solutions and managed services market, offering new solutions to enhance the performance of printers and multi-function devices while also improving workplace efficiency. These new solutions provide document and device management for a more streamlined workflow and efficient printer performance. Samsung’s goal is to increase efficiency and flexibility for corporate environments by providing intelligent solutions for everyday business challenges. As these new products come to market over the next six months, Samsung is committed to developing further and improving its printing offering, ensuring the company provides the broadest, highest-quality range of printers and solutions possible – to the satisfaction of B2B customers of all sizes. New Ideas about Display Samsung unveiled three new Large Format Displays, 40 and 46-inch models with an ultra-slim bezel of 11mm (400/460UXn) and an 82-inch large-size model (820DXn). The new models employ exclusive Large Form Display panels that minimize heat and blurring even after long-time use and have internal networks which allow users to remotely control contents. When using the accompanying MDC (Multi-Display Control) function, users can control display power and screen settings in one PC, making it possible to manage multi-display environments more effectively. The new SyncMaster 2263DX monitor is a CES 2008 Innovation award-winning 22-inch LCD monitor that features an additional 7-inch display connected to the monitor through USB. The breakthrough model creates a more productive work environment for business users with dual screens. Featuring a tandem 7-inch display connected to the primary monitor, the 2263DX facilitates simple connectivity without the cost of an extra graphic card. Facilitating a multi-screen environment, the 2263DX monitor is ideal for users who require multiple screens to run programs and applications simultaneously, therefore increasing productivity. Samsung also unveiled the P200 Ultra Portable Notebook PC, a high-performance device built for mobile workers and the latest addition to Samsung’s rapidly expanding P Series business lineup.
